In one week I'll be spending my first night in Colorado Springs. I can't believe it's gotten here so fast!! I decided to make a new blog to document the experience and to keep friends and family updated on what's going on!
So many people have said to me "I saw on Facebook that you're moving to Colorado!" people that I didn't even know I was friends with on fb...eek. That's crazy, you never realize how many people know what's going on in your life, haha.
Everyone is asking what this thing is that I'm going to, so in case you don't know, I'll describe it again- it's called the Focus Leadership Institute. It's a one semester academic college program where people from all over come and are challenged on world view, faith, leadership, and lot's of other issues. It's through Focus on the Family and classes meet on their campus every day, our actual academic credit will be received through Colorado Christian University, though.
On Saturday, dad and I will load up the 4runner and head to Oxford to catch the first Ole Miss football game (I'm missing an entire season!) then drive the rest of the way Sunday-Tuesday.
ahh...I'm nervous and excited. I really should be packing...
